As if Americans torturing Iraqi prisoners weren't bad enough, we then have to listen to the cowardly excuses about it from the army brass and the Administration. And the fact that such actions have been condoned by these characters makes me wonder just how long this kind of behavior has been going on, pre-Guantanamo?
But I keep forgetting. We're not superior to the
Saddam regime or the terrorists because of anything we DO. We're better than them by definition. Because we're us. Whew. Lucky thing we're the good guys. Otherwise we might be in trouble.
